SAN PABLO CITY, LAGUNA, Philippines Raymond Hosingco Banzuela has built a professional career at the intersection of education, publishing, entrepreneurship, and creative communication, gradually expanding his work from the classroom into the field of independent publishing.

Based in San Pablo City, Laguna, Banzuela is a Filipino educator, author, editor, publishing specialist, and independent publisher. In recent years, much of his professional work has centred on developing publishing opportunities for educators, professionals, advocates, and authors seeking to share their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives with wider audiences.

Banzuela is the founder and managing director of Raymond Banzuela International Publishing Services (RBIPS), an independent publishing enterprise that he began developing during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and subsequently registered in the Philippines.

Through the organization, he has been involved in individual and collaborative book projects as well as magazine publications involving contributors from the Philippines and other countries.

The publishing work covers several stages of the publication process, including manuscript development, editing, book design, publication, and distribution.

Among the subjects addressed through collaborative publications are education, leadership, sustainability, social issues, women’s empowerment, entrepreneurship, and personal development.

Another part of Banzuela’s publishing work is his role as editor-in-chief of The Sovereign Global Review International, a publication focusing on leadership, innovation, humanitarian service, education, and social impact.

The publication carries Print ISSN 3116-5192 and Online ISSN 3116-5206. Its publications are also deposited with the National Library of the Philippines in accordance with applicable legal deposit requirements.

Banzuela’s background in education remains an important influence on his approach to publishing. He is a Licensed Professional Teacher in the Philippines and has experience in teaching and technical-vocational assessment.

His educational background has informed his interest in creating avenues through which teachers, professionals, and other practitioners can document and communicate their experiences and expertise through published works.

His professional development has also extended into business administration, reflecting an interest in the relationship between education, entrepreneurship, and publishing management.

For Banzuela, publishing provides more than a means of producing books and magazines. It can also serve as a platform for bringing together contributors from different countries and professional backgrounds and for making their ideas, experiences, research-informed perspectives, and advocacy accessible to broader audiences.

His career illustrates a transition from education into independent publishing, while maintaining a continuing connection with the values of knowledge sharing and professional development.

Through his publishing initiatives, he has sought to develop collaborative networks across professional and geographic boundaries and to position publishing as a vehicle for education, professional expression, and social engagement.

As RBIPS continues its publishing activities, Banzuela’s work reflects the growing role of independent publishers in creating opportunities for authors and professionals to bring their experiences and ideas into the public sphere.
